AlcoholEDU

Dear Student,

As you already know, all freshmen and transfer students are required to complete AlcoholEDU for College - an online, non-opinionated alcohol prevention program. Whether you drink or not, AlcoholEDU will help you make well-informed decisions about alcohol and will help you negotiate the drinking behavior of your peers. AlcoholEDU has two parts, both of which must be completed.

Part I consists of the following and must be completed by Januray 16, 2012 at midnight:

Part I takes about 1.5-2.5 hours to complete, and we recommend that you take it in multiple sittings. You must earn a grade of 75% or higher on the exam to successfully complete Part I. About 45 days after completing Part I, you will receive an email asking you to complete Part II.

Part II consists of the following and must be completed by March 23, 2012 at midnight :

It is important that we get a 100% completion rate, and as such, we will be tracking compliance and following-up with those students who do not fulfill this requirement. While we don't expect this to be an issue, students who choose not to complete the program will be reported to the Office of Judicial Affairs and Student Advocacy, the office responsible for student conduct violations.

Please note the course includes three surveys that measure students' alcohol-related attitudes and behaviors. All survey responses are strictly confidential; the school will only receive information about the student body as a whole and will never see individual students' answers.
